In 2017, over 70,000 Americans died by drug overdose. That is a 13% increase from 2016, and more than double in the last decade.

In 2017, over 47,000 Americans took their own life. An estimated 1,400,000 attempted it.

Based on a study in 2017, over 19.7 Million Americans over the age of 12 had a substance use disorder. More specifically: 1 in 7 Young Adults aged 18-25, and 1 in 16 adults over the age of 26.
