Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to be a sober community center that provides hope and fellowship to those in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions.
What is PAX?
Pax is the latin word for Peace. We believe that most people are on a journey searching for peace but often times are unable to find it. We search for peace in our jobs, relationships, money, etc. When those things let us down we begin searching for peace at the bottom of a bottle or pipe.
At Pax Recovery Center, we believe that peace is a gift. After years of searching for peace, begging for hope, and crying out for freedom, we finally learned that it was there all along. A gift, waiting to be received, and all we had to do was accept it. We didn’t have to ‘do’ anything, we didn’t have to ‘be’ anyone, we just had to surrender and finally jump two feet it. This gift is freely given, by Jesus, and we hope everyone has the opportunity to know what that peace, hope, joy, freedom, and unconditional love feels like.
Everyone is welcome with open arms at Pax Recovery Center, regardless of beliefs, faith, or chosen higher power. Come as you are and we will journey together to find real, lasting peace.
"Pax Recovery Center is
a place where addiction is understood and sobriety is celebrated. A place where everlasting hope and peace are found. A place where Jesus and His love are made known. A place where all are welcome, no matter what stage of life they may be in. A place where together, we can change the world.
